Iranian Christians Are Using War to Share Christ

Last week we received this message from one of our underground church leaders in Iran:

Dear [friends], we are still alive and continuing the work of Christ. Yesterday, I was able to save two lives… two people gave their hearts to Christ.

Amid the bombings, police are hiding and Christians are sharing Jesus!

We’ve been told that some of the military in Iran is too busy and too scared to currently keep up their persecution of Christians. And many underground believers are taking advantage of the war to win people to Christ.

When we first started raising funds to print The Real Story of Jesus books for Iran, it was to have them ready after the conflict. But they are distributing them now. And they have asked us for more!

Two weeks ago we completed our initial fundraising to print and distribute 50,000 copies of The Real Story of Jesus in comic book form. And as you read this, the books are already being distributed. Now they are asking if we would be willing to send another 50,000!

Here’s what they told us about The Real Story of Jesus books, which contain the full message of salvation from Genesis to Revelation:

One [section] of the comics being distributed carries a powerful reminder: Christ suffered for us, and He is not unfamiliar with our suffering.

This message reflects the heart of the believers and leaders who, despite years of pressure, hardship, and persecution, continue to stand firm for the salvation of their people. With deep passion and unwavering focus on their calling, they use every opportunity to reach hearts with the Gospel.

It is hard for us to even imagine God would use RevelationMedia in this way. There was a time we didn’t even want to produce The Real Story of Jesus.

But God always seems to have a different plan. He knew why these books would be needed. And He knew His children in Iran would take every opportunity, even amid a war, to share Jesus!

We do not know how long this window of opportunity will stay open. It’s even hard for us to imagine that war and suffering are creating this opportunity, but they are. We just must look beyond the natural and into the spiritual.

Honestly, our Iranian partners could use a million copies. And if God provided the resources, that is exactly what we would give. But for now, they are asking if we will send funds to print another 50,000 copies.

For every $2 we raise, we can cover the full cost to print and distribute a copy of The Real Story of Jesus. This amount also includes some emergency support for the underground church in Iran.

The last thing we heard from Iran last week was this:

Please continue to pray for the church in Iran. Pray for their protection, provisions, and for the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. And pray for those who will be receiving The Real Story of Jesus.
